1. What currencies do your machines support?

FEELTECK bill counters support 100+ currencies out of the box, covering all major world currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, CNY, JPY, KRW, INR, RUB, BRL, MXN, AED, SAR, NGN, KES, ZAR, and many more. Each currency has a dedicated detection profile stored in the machine's firmware that defines the UV pattern, magnetic ink regions, IR absorption characteristics, and CIS image template for every denomination within that currency.

For single-denomination counters (models like FT-501, FT-503, FT-2040), currency compatibility is primarily a matter of physical note dimensions and paper quality—the detection hardware (UV, MG, IR) works universally. For mixed denomination counters (FT-900, FT-910, FT-7100), the CIS imaging system requires a currency-specific database. If your currency is not in our standard library, we can program a custom detection profile—contact us with sample notes and we will develop and load the profile before shipping.

2. What counterfeit detection technologies do you use?

Every FEELTECK machine employs multi-layer detection, with the exact sensor stack depending on the model tier. All models include at minimum UV (ultraviolet) and MG (magnetic) detection. Mid-range models add IR (infrared) detection. Professional and mixed denomination models add CIS (Contact Image Sensor) imaging, which captures a high-resolution image of every note and compares it pixel-by-pixel against a stored genuine note template.

This layered approach means that even if a counterfeit bypasses one sensor, it is caught by the next. For a detailed technical explanation of how each technology works and which counterfeits it catches, see our Counterfeit Detection Technology Guide.

3. What is the counting speed?

Counting speed varies by model and operating mode. The standard measurement is notes per minute (npm):

Model SeriesCounting Mode (CNT)Value Counting (SDC/MDC)Typical Use
FT-501 / FT-503800–900 npm800 npmSmall retail
FT-20401,000–1,200 npm1,000 npmBanks, supermarkets
FT-900 / FT-9101,000 npm800 npm (MDC mode)Mixed denomination sorting
FT-3188 / FT-82881,200–1,500 npm1,000 npmHigh-volume cash centers

Note that mixed denomination (MDC) and value counting modes run slower than pure counting mode because the CIS must capture, process, and match an image for every note. The trade-off is between pure throughput and value-added information per note. For most operations, 1,000 npm is the practical sweet spot—fast enough to clear a register drawer in under 30 seconds, and quiet enough to operate near customers.

4. Can it count mixed denominations?

Yes, on models equipped with CIS image sensors. Our mixed denomination counters (FT-900, FT-910, FT-7100) can process an unsorted stack of bills containing multiple denominations and display the total quantity, the piece count per denomination, and the total monetary value. The machine identifies each note by its denomination-specific visual and dimensional features, not by pre-sorting.

For example, you can place a mixed stack of $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 bills into the hopper, and the machine will report: "100 pcs — $1: 20, $5: 15, $10: 10, $20: 25, $50: 15, $100: 15 — Total: $3,485." Single-denomination counters (FT-501, FT-503, FT-2040) count piece quantity only and cannot distinguish between denominations—you must pre-sort the stack.

5. Can you customize appearance, logo, and packaging?

Yes, absolutely. FEELTECK offers full OEM and ODM services. We can customize:

We are a technology-driven manufacturer with an in-house R&D team, not a trading company. This means we control the entire customization process from engineering to production. For more on our OEM capabilities, read our OEM Bill Counter Manufacturing Guide.

6. What is your pricing?

Pricing depends on the model, features, and order quantity. As a manufacturer selling directly (no middlemen), we provide factory-direct pricing that is typically 20–40% lower than the same specifications from Western-branded resellers. Entry-level single-denomination counters start at approximately $120–$200 FOB (unit price, subject to order volume). Professional mixed-denomination counters range from $800–$2,500 FOB depending on feature set.

Exact pricing requires a quote because it depends on your specific configuration choices: sensor stack, currency profiles, OEM customization, packaging requirements, and order volume. Contact us with your requirements and we will provide a detailed quotation within 24 hours.

7. Can you offer better pricing?

Yes. We offer volume-based tiered pricing: the more units you order, the lower the per-unit cost. For regular bulk buyers and long-term distributors, we also offer annual contract pricing with locked-in rates and priority production scheduling. If you are price-sensitive, we can work with you to adjust the feature set—for example, a model with UV+MG only (no IR) costs less than the full sensor stack, and may be sufficient for your market's counterfeit risk level. Tell us your target budget and we will propose the best configuration within that range.

8. What is the MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)?

Our standard MOQ is flexible and depends on the product and customization level:

9. How do you ship and how long does it take?

We ship from our manufacturing facility in China using two primary methods:

Production lead time is typically 7–15 days for standard models, plus 5–10 additional days for OEM customization. We provide tracking information as soon as the shipment departs.

10. How is shipping cost calculated?

We quote on FOB (Free On Board) terms by default, which means the price includes the cost of the goods plus delivery to the port of departure in China. You are responsible for sea/air freight, insurance, and import duties at your destination. This gives you the flexibility to use your own freight forwarder, often at better rates than if we arranged shipping on your behalf.

If you prefer a delivered price, we can quote CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) to your nearest port, or DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) for selected destinations. Shipping cost depends on: shipment volume (CBM for sea freight, chargeable weight for air), destination port, and current fuel surcharges. We are happy to coordinate with your nominated freight forwarder or recommend one from our network.

11. What is the packaging like?

Every machine ships in an export-grade individual box with custom-cut high-density foam inserts that secure the machine on all six sides. The foam absorbs shock and vibration during transit. Each box includes: the machine, power cord, user manual (English by default; other languages available on request), cleaning brush, calibration film (for CIS models), spare fuses, and any optional accessories ordered. The outer carton is double-wall corrugated cardboard rated for international shipping.

For bulk orders, individual boxes are packed onto fumigated wooden pallets, stretch-wrapped, and corner-protected. We have shipped to 160+ countries and our packaging is designed to survive multi-modal international logistics. Damage rates in transit are below 0.3%.

12. What certifications do you have?

FEELTECK machines carry the following certifications, which are included with every shipment for customs clearance purposes:

If your country requires additional certifications (such as SASO for Saudi Arabia, SABER for certain product categories, or SONCAP for Nigeria), please mention this in your inquiry. We have experience with regional certification processes and can guide you or arrange testing if needed.

13. How do you ensure quality?

Our quality control system operates at three stages:

  1. Incoming QC: Every component—motors, sensors, CIS modules, circuit boards, power supplies, and mechanical parts—is inspected on arrival against specification sheets. Components that fail inspection are returned to the supplier.
  2. In-process QC: During assembly, each sub-assembly (transport mechanism, sensor array, mainboard, display) is tested independently before integration. Critical calibration steps (CIS alignment, sensor gain settings) are performed by trained technicians, not automated jigs alone.
  3. Final QC + burn-in: Every completed machine undergoes a 72-hour burn-in test during which it continuously counts test notes while sensors are monitored for drift. After burn-in, each machine is tested with genuine currency notes (for its target market) and must achieve 100% counting accuracy and correct counterfeit detection before being cleared for packaging.

We maintain a defect rate below 0.5% across all models. For more on how we build machines that last, see our Maintenance & Troubleshooting Guide.

14. How long does the machine last?

With proper maintenance, a FEELTECK bill counter has a service life of 5–10 years. The mechanical components (motor, drive belts, transport gears) are rated for 5–8 million note cycles. The electronic components (mainboard, sensors, display) typically outlast the mechanical components. Wear parts—rubber feed rollers, friction pads, and transport belts—are designed to be user-replaceable and have a service life of 1–4 million notes depending on the part. We supply spare part kits so you can replace wear items during scheduled maintenance rather than after failure. See our maintenance guide for replacement intervals and procedures.

15. Do you provide warranty?

Yes. Every FEELTECK machine includes a standard warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. During the warranty period, we provide:

The warranty does not cover consumable wear parts (rollers, pads, belts) unless they fail prematurely due to a manufacturing defect. Exact warranty terms are specified in the sales contract.

16. What if the machine malfunctions?

Most "malfunctions" are actually maintenance issues that can be resolved without returning the machine. Here is what we recommend, in order:

  1. Check the error code on the display and reference the troubleshooting table in your user manual or our online maintenance guide. The most common fixes are: clean the sensors (85% of cases), adjust the hopper screw, or run CIS calibration.
  2. Contact our technical support team with the error code and a short video of the problem. Our engineers can diagnose most issues remotely and guide you through the fix. We respond within 24 hours, often within the same business day.
  3. If a hardware component has failed, we ship the replacement part and provide step-by-step installation instructions. Most parts are modular and can be swapped with basic tools.
  4. In the rare case that a machine requires factory repair, we will arrange return shipping and repair or replace the unit under warranty terms.

17. What payment methods do you accept?

Our standard payment method is T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) bank wire, which is the most common and cost-effective method for international B2B trade. Typical payment terms are 30% deposit to confirm the order and begin production, with the 70% balance due before shipment. For established long-term customers, we offer more flexible terms on a case-by-case basis.

For sample orders and small quantities, we can also accept payment through secure trade platforms. We do not currently accept credit cards or PayPal for bulk orders due to the high transaction fees and chargeback risk in B2B trade. All payments are made in USD unless otherwise agreed.

18. What makes FEELTECK different from other suppliers?

Five things distinguish us from the dozens of other currency counter suppliers in the market:

  1. Technology-driven R&D: We hold multiple patents in currency detection algorithms and transport mechanism design. Our engineering team continuously improves detection accuracy and reliability—we do not simply copy reference designs.
  2. 160+ countries: Our machines are in daily use across six continents, in environments ranging from humid tropical bank branches to dry desert cash centers. This field experience feeds back into our engineering.
  3. Flexible customization: Unlike large manufacturers with rigid MOQs, we accept OEM orders of 50–100 units and treat customization as a core service, not an afterthought. Read our OEM manufacturing guide for details.
  4. Complete certifications: CE, FCC, and RoHS as standard, with experience navigating additional regional certifications.
  5. Direct-from-manufacturer pricing: No trading company markup. You deal directly with the engineers who designed the machine, and you pay factory prices.

19. Can I get a sample?

Yes. We encourage all buyers to order a sample unit before placing a bulk order. A sample allows you to test the machine with your actual currency, evaluate build quality firsthand, and confirm that the counting speed and detection accuracy meet your requirements. The sample fee is refundable against your first bulk order, so the sample effectively costs you nothing once you proceed. We ship samples via DHL, FedEx, or UPS with delivery in 6–7 days to most destinations worldwide. Request a sample quote with your shipping address and the model you are interested in.
